BCCI Approves 10 Team IPL from 2022
According to the latest sports news, the Board of Control for Cricket in India organized BCCI’s Annual General Meeting in 4th week of December 2021. During the AGM, the BCCI published some official statements on upcoming cricket events including IPL 15 that is going to be held in 2022.
The BCCI has approved 10 teams for IPL 2022 season, while the last IPL season (2020) had only 8 teams playing 60 matches. So, the BCCI has approved two new IPL teams named Ahmedabad Lions and Lucknow Nawabs. Because of two more teams, there will be more number of matches in IPL 2022.
